What does it mean to be a kid at heart?
This is a phenomenal topic to cover so I will answer with the most facts that I can muster. With my 2 cents thrown in the mix.
First Fact: children laugh upwards of 300 times a day. Adults? Upwards of 20. Literally less than 10 times than the average.
So, first and foremost, being a kid at heart is to be able to lighten up the mood and laugh a little (or a lot). It’s why kids are generally happier than adults on a daily basis.
Second Fact: Kids go through most of their childhood accepting people and situations for what they are. Typically a child won’t formulate negative opinions about most things until they hit teenage years and go through puberty.
Now, I don’t know if it has to do with age or experiences but in this instance being a child at heart would be to just roll with the punches. Stay positive and figure it out from there. Where as, I would assume (obviously no facts I’m assuming lol), that most adults would rather vent or complain about the situation before trying to figure it out.
So, I guess in a sense, being a child at heart would mean more laughing, more acceptance and more inner peace. Not worrying about things that are out of our control and just enjoying life for what it is. Beautiful.
